MISSION |

The
California Conservation Corps Foundation, a non-profit public
benefit organization, is dedicated to promoting the careers
of young Californians through sponsorship of educational and
entrepreneurial business opportunities directed toward protecting
Californiaâs environment, natural resources and communities.
To fulfill our mission, the Foundation:

Secures
grants, contributions and other funding to benefit young Californians,
while providing meaningful work experience, educational enhancement
and on-the-job training opportunities.
|
|
Awards
educational and training grants to qualified Corpsmembers
and graduates to expand their employability skills and knowledge
of successful career paths.
|
|
Fund
special projects for which regular funding is not available,
such as wilderness enhancement, flood abatement projects, technical
training and preparedness for natural disasters.
|
|
Provides
support and funding to the California Conservation Corps for
emergency relief during natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes,
and wildfires.
