The CCC Foundation is proud to welcome three outstanding individuals to our board — bringing expertise in energy, education, public policy, and the lived experience of a Corpsmember serving today.

Brendan Bond | Board Member
Brendan is Vice President and Treasurer of Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S., serving approximately 15 million Californians across a 50,000 square-mile service area and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency. His financial leadership and deep roots in California's clean energy landscape make him a powerful asset to the Foundation.
Zaneta Encarnacion | Board Member
Zaneta is Chief of Staff at Southwestern College, bringing more than two decades of experience in public policy, higher education, and philanthropy to our board. As a first-generation college student whose own trajectory was changed by community college and workforce opportunity, she knows firsthand what a single opportunity can mean for a young person's life — and that perspective will keep our work grounded in what matters most.
Mónica Yup Chinchilla | Corpsmember Representative
Mónica is a current Corpsmember at the CCC Tahoe Center, where she serves as a Crew Lead I for one of the center's natural resource crews and is the former secretary of the Tahoe Center's Corpsmember Advisory Board. She holds a B.A. in Biology from UC Berkeley. Having an active Corpsmember voice in the boardroom isn't symbolic — it's essential, and Mónica brings exactly that.

We are honored to welcome Brendan, Zaneta, and Mónica to the CCC Foundation board. Together, they strengthen our ability to support, celebrate, and expand the work of the California Conservation Corps.
